Mr. Jablonski’s relationship with Rite Aid’s real estate executives, dating from his banking career, lead to this adaptive re-use opportunity.  Rite Aid had relocated across the street with its new prototype design. The building proved ideal for a medical re-use.  Through selective demolition, the former Rite Aid was downsized to add additional parking.  The redevelopment, which is located within an historic district, has been lauded by the local community development corporation and council person for its design, job creation, and needs fulfillment in the neighborhood.
