Village Green

This non-core asset was owned by Kimco Realty Trust and suffered from low occupancy and deferred maintenance.  Since acquisition the shopping center has been re-imaged and the 10-acre overall site redeveloped.  Highlights include the introduction of a new grocery store anchor, Save A Lot, as well as additional complementary national retailers such as Pizza Hut.  The shopping center was ‘right-sized’ through selective demolition to retain the most attractive and visible retail units.  Land was prepared for alternative development use and resulted in the addition of the Cornerstone Apartments, a project featuring senior housing.  The addition of housing has created a successful’, linear mixed-use project.
